2006 St. Patrick School Annual Auction
Saturday, April 29, 2006
St. Patrick Parish School’s annual auction is a grand fundraising event. This is a fun and exciting social event, with the very important goal of raising money to benefit our children’s education. Here is some general information about the event:
Mark your calendars! This year’s event is planned for Saturday, April 29, 2006 at the beautiful Lake San Marcos Country Club.
Ticket sales will start soon and you can charge it! Ticket sales will begin at our first PTG meeting on September 29th. Ticket Sales will be ongoing and you will want to get yours early! You may charge your auction seats to a credit card (VISA or MasterCard only), or write a check payable to St. Patrick PTG, using the enclosed Ticket Order Form. Just complete the enclosed form and return it to the school office in an envelope marked “Auction”. As always, credit cards will be accepted during the event for your live and silent auction purchases.
Only 300 seats available! The earlier you buy, the better your seat. All table assignments will be based on the date of purchase. The sooner you buy, the closer you sit!
Plan your party and sit with your friends! If you have specific friends with whom you’d like to sit, please order your seats together on one order form. All tables seat eight, and you may order any combination of tables and/or individual seats on one order form. Tables and individual seats ordered together will be located adjacent to each order. The order forms accommodate payments from several people, and all payments must be submitted together with the form to reserve seats at the same table.
We need to know who’s coming and who’s not! Please let us know the names of everyone included in your auction party, by accurately completing the “Attendee Information” section of the order form. This allows pre-registration for the event, bypassing a check-in line, as well as ensuring all school families are credited for their auction ticket obligation. Please include accurate information regarding the youngest child’s name and grade, to ensure appropriate credit is given to all school families. If the names of all your guests are not available at the time of your ticket order, please forward the information as soon as possible to the school office, attention “Auction Tickets”.
Why should I order early? The event isn’t until next year! There are some very good reasons for ordering your auction tickets early. First, there are only 300 seats available. Second, ordering early means you get better seats at the event. The earlier you order, the closer you sit to the stage. Finally, it simply takes fewer volunteer hours for planning the event if we know early on who is coming and who is not. The auction committee truly appreciates the timely ordering of your auction tickets.
Faculty Appreciation — A great way to honor our wonderful teachers! Please contribute to this fund to benefit the teachers at St. Patrick Parish School. You may donate any amount you wish, starting at $50 per donation. All sponsors will be acknowledged in the “Faculty Sponsors” section of the auction catalog. To make a donation to this worthy cause, simply indicate your donation amount on the Ticket Order Form. Also, please indicate how you would like your name to be printed in the catalog.
Family Donations made easy! We would love for each St. Patrick School family to make a family donation to the auction. We welcome gift certificates, services, time share opportunities etc. More information regarding Family Donations will be included in the auction packet you will
receive soon. Please continue the tradition of generous support that we have always received!
Tuition Raffle — Win a year’s tuition to St. Patrick Parish School! For only $10, you can buy a chance to win an entire year’s tuition at St. Patrick Parish School, at the 2006/2007 participating parishioner tuition rate. Eligibility is limited to current school families. No cash settlement will be issued. The drawing will be held at the auction, and the winner does not need to be present.
“Best of Live” Raffle — Only 100 raffle tickets will be sold at $50.00 each for your chance to win any one item of your choice in the live auction.
Ticket Order Form — Use the attached Ticket Order Form to purchase your auction tickets. Forward the form with checks attached and/or credit card information accurately completed, to the school office, attention “Auction Tickets”.
No check-in necessary at the auction! Table assignments and bid numbers will be printed on your auction catalog, and sent to you at least one week prior to the event. Along with your catalog, you will receive any raffle tickets you’ve purchased in advance. This will eliminate the need for check-in or ticket lines at the actual event. Just bring your catalog and no check-in will be required. (There will still be a check-in line for those who forgot their catalogs, or for those non-school guests who would not receive mail through the school).
Bring your family, bring your friends! It came to the attention of the auction committee that many of you thought this function was only for St. Patrick’s School and Parish members. This event is for anyone wanting to support our school while having a wonderful time. We encourage you to invite your friends, neighbors and relatives to this fantastic event. However, your cooperation is appreciated in keeping this an adult only event.
A friendly reminder… Your help is greatly appreciated with procurement efforts. It’s time to begin talking to any and all people we know who may want to donate items to this important fundraising event for our school. Start making those phone calls!
Auction 2006 promises to be one of the best ever! We cannot thank you enough for your attendance and your participation in this auction. We will do our best to make this a night to remember. May the Lord bless you abundantly for all you do for St. Patrick Parish School.
