Drama Teacher, Mrs. Barthell, Receives Award

Congratulations to our Junior High Drama teacher, Aleta Barthell, for receiving the Jonathan Maberry Inspiring Teens Award. In addition to teaching Drama at St. Pats, Mrs. Barthell is a long-time dramaturg and teacher for Playwrights Project, founder of Kids Act, and a regular speaker at the CCA Writers’ Conference. 

“I am honored to receive the Jonathan Mayberry Inspiring Teens Award,” says Mrs. Barthell. “I count myself most fortunate to work with young writers, I am always amazed at how forthright and heartfelt their writing is—it is their writing that continually inspires me.” And we count ourselves fortunate to have you at St. Pats!
