What is your favorite memory of being in school?

What is your favorite memory of being in school?   I just always really liked school, which was probably annoying to many of my classmates. I looked forward to going back to school every year, I really liked most of my teachers, I liked being with my friends, and I loved learning.  Both of my parents were also teachers, so school was a big, happy part of my life.

What do you value most about St. Patrick?

My only experience in education before coming to St. Patricks was in the public school system.  As parents, when we went to our first St. Patrick’s PTG meeting in 2007, we were overwhelmed that we prayed beforehand. There was something very powerful about a community praying for our children together that I had not experienced before in an educational setting.  Sharing our faith, as we learn and grow together is invaluable.

Who or what inspires you most?

My faith in Jesus through the Catholic Church is what inspires me most.  Jesus has given us the most incredible gift of himself in the humblest of ways, the Eucharist. He is the creator of the universe, yet he comes down to our level to meet us in bread and wine.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Spend time with family, hike, read, go to the beach, go for walks with friends and Johnny (our spoiled dog) , pray and learn more about my faith

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Stay close to God, and don’t compare yourself to others.
