Visit to the Farm for 4th Grade

The 4th Graders expanded their study of Life Science when they toured a local working dairy farm, home to 880 Holstein cows. Imagine their surprise when they were all present for the birth of a beef calf as well as a milking demonstration and tours of the milking parlor, feed bays, and calf nursery.  Thank you to Frank and Stacey Konyn for inviting us to their dairy and for the delicious chocolate milk.
