5th Grade’s Trip to Revolutionary War

The 5th graders went to Riley’s Farm in Oak Glen for their Revolutionary War overnight field trip.  They learned about the Stamp Act, Admiralty Court, Quartering Act as well as drilling, weaving, and etiquette of the 1700’s.  Students were immersed in the culture and surroundings of colonial living, right up to battling the British.  It was a experience they will not soon forget!
