Third graders spent the day at the Fleet Science Center. First, they watched a movie and learned how engineers can change lives. Then, they explored the museum together. They had a wonderful time learning about the engineering field!

This visit to the science center was just in time for Career Day on Monday 1/26! Parents are invited to sign up still in their students classrooms and share about their careers. See the link in the newsletter for more information!

The Scholastic Book Fair is almost here! We are excited to welcome the Book Fair to our school from January 25–30, 2026. Students will have the opportunity to visit the fair with their classes, and families are invited to join us during Open House on Sunday, January 25 from 10:00–11:00 a.m.

The Book Fair is a wonderful way to foster a love of reading while giving back—every purchase supports our school! Families can make shopping even easier by setting up a Scholastic eWallet and helping students preview the fair online to build a wishlist ahead of time.

We are also still looking for parent volunteers to help run the fair. If you are able to lend a hand, please visit the PPP portal to sign up. Thank you for supporting our students and helping make this event a success!

"Many hands make light work." Nehemiah 3:1-32

The St. Patrick Catholic School Garden was blessed with many hands this past week when preparing for Winter and Spring planting using Straw Bales. Mrs. Tye's newest Junior Master Garden Class of 6th graders prepared the space by weeding, raking, and leveling the North garden location. Finally, a crew of 2nd grade girls, who were attending Extended Care, positioned the bales, irrigation lines, and compost thermometers before beginning the conditioning process (This takes 2 weeks.) by hydrating all 8 bales. Thank you to all of these hands that made it possible.
