As we come to the close of Catholic Schools Week, we pause with grateful hearts to reflect on how we have lived out our theme of “being the light.” Throughout this week, we all shined brightly in so many ways. We learned what it means to be lifelong learners on Career Day, discovering gifts and dreams God has placed within each of us. We practiced being independent thinkers in the Parish Hall, asking questions, sharing ideas, and growing in confidence. Through our bake sale, we showed how grateful and giving individuals use their time and talents to serve others with joy and generosity. We also learned how to be honest and respectful citizens through Kindness Bingo and our special visit from the MCA and Sister Eva, reminding us that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Finally, our classrooms were filled with inspiration as we welcomed a visit from St. Carlo Acutis, helping us see what it means to be thoughtful Catholic leaders who follow Christ with courage and faith. As we leave this celebration behind and return to our daily routines, may we continue to be the light—choosing love, kindness, learning, and leadership each day—so that others may see Christ shining through us. ... Third graders spent the day at the Fleet Science Center. First, they watched a movie and learned how engineers can change lives. Then, they explored the museum together. They had a wonderful time learning about the engineering field!

This visit to the science center was just in time for Career Day on Monday 1/26! Parents are invited to sign up still in their students classrooms and share about their careers. See the link in the newsletter for more information!
